According to USDA, corn and soybean harvest paces remained slightly ahead of five year average paces through the week ending Nov 13th.
Corn:
The corn harvest stood at 93% completed through the week ending Nov 13th, behind the previous year’s harvest pace of 95% but ahead of the five year average pace of 92%.
An additional 7% of the total U.S. corn crop was harvested during the week ending Nov 13th. Weekly increases in the corn crop harvest on a percentage basis were led by Michigan, Wisconsin and North Dakota.
Soybeans:
The soybeans harvest stood at 97% completed through the week ending Nov 13th, consistent with the previous year’s harvest pace of 97% and ahead of the five year average pace of 95%.
An additional 4% of the total U.S. soybean crop was harvested during the week ending Nov 13th. Weekly increases in the soybean crop harvest on a percentage basis were led by Georgia, followed by New York and North Carolina.
