Dry Whey – Stocks Decline MOM Despite Significant Increase in Production
Despite the significant increase in production, Feb ’15 dry whey stocks declined by 2.2%, or 1.4 million lbs, MOM to a total of 61.6 million lbs. Dry whey stocks did, however, finish higher on a YOY basis for the third time in four months. Feb ’15 dry whey stocks finished 8.7% higher than a year ago and 13.0% higher than the five year average February dry whey stocks.
NFDM – Stocks Flat MOM, Remain Higher YOY
Feb ’15 NFDM stocks increased by 0.1%, or 0.3 million lbs, MOM to a total of 240.7 million lbs while also remaining significantly higher on a YOY basis. Feb ’15 NFDM stocks finished 32.6% higher than a year ago and 37.3% higher than the five year average February NFDM stocks.
