Biodiesel Trade Update – Feb ’22
According to the USDA, Dec ’21 U.S. biodiesel export volumes rebounded from the 11 month low level experienced throughout the previous month, finishing 215.4% above previous year figures and reaching an eight year high seasonal level. The YOY increase in U.S. biodiesel export volumes was the tenth experienced throughout the past 12 months. U.S. biodiesel import volumes reached a four year high level throughout the month, however, while net biodiesel trade remained negative for the fourth consecutive month.
